Job Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of experience at a peer BigLaw firm in public and private equity and debt offerings, including initial public offerings and follow-on offerings, proxy statements, and S-4 registration statements in connection with business combination transactions.
- Experience interfacing with the SEC and other regulators.
- Familiarity with ongoing reporting requirements under the ’34 Act for public companies, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements.
- Experience representing both issuers and underwriters is beneficial.
- Day-to-day experience counseling public companies, including corporate governance matters.
- A strong academic background.
- Client management skills.
- Drafting and negotiation skills.
- The ability to retain and grow existing clients and relationships.
- Admission to the New York bar.
Pay Information
The expected pay range for this position is $365,000-$420,000. Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job-related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
