Canton- Floorcare Technician

A Quality Facility Services is looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our team as Floor Care Technicians in Canton, OH. No previous floor care or commercial cleaning experience is required—we provide paid hands-on training.

Pay

$25–$28 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Second-shift position working approximately 5:00 PM–1:00 AM. Ideal candidates have previously worked night, evening, or overnight shifts and understand the schedule and lifestyle that come with second-shift work.

Responsibilities

• Stripping, waxing, buffing, and scrubbing floors
• Carpet cleaning and extraction
• Tile and grout cleaning and sealing
• Upholstery and furniture cleaning
• Post-construction and deep cleaning
• Interior and exterior window cleaning
• General janitorial and specialty cleaning projects
• Proper operation and care of professional floor equipment
• Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
• Assisting team members with special projects throughout our service area
• Helping launch new customer contracts, which may involve occasional overnight travel with additional compensation such as per diem

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience working in a service industry
• Previous experience working evening, night, or overnight shifts
• Comfortable working a 5:00 PM–1:00 AM schedule
• Willing and able to travel to different work locations
• Comfortable with occasional overnight travel for new contract startups
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Willing to learn new skills and operate specialized equipment
