Candy Maker- Afternoon shift 2p-11p

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manually transfer cooled caramel tubs weighing approximately 50 lbs. each repeatedly to production line.
• Clean and sanitize the equipment used to make candy.
• Start and continue the production line using established guidelines.
• Quality control of caramel squares on production line to check for weight & uniformity.
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety), and OSHA Safety policies.
• Track inventory using ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED;
• Self-directed;
• Must be able to read and write English proficiently;
• Ability to work well with peers and supervisors;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to keep production lines running efficiently;
• Previous manufacturing experience (required).

Physical Requirements

• Standing for 8-10 hours;
• Walking up and down stairs;
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently;
• Wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by company.
