About the role
Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center Neonatology team is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative and dedicated team. The position offers the opportunity to practice in a Level II NICU with additional responsibilities in the well‑baby nursery and delivery room, with a backup neonatologist available overnight for consultation. Following a structured orientation period, the NNP will be credentialed and work both independently and collaboratively with attending physicians, peers, and other members of the healthcare team to provide high‑quality specialty care to critically ill and newborn patients. The NNP may order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies, as well as prescribe medications and interventions consistent with scope of practice. This role functions in an inpatient critical care setting, providing comprehensive neonatal care. Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is a 341
