(CAN) Consumables Lead Department Manager
Position Summary
To assist in the leadership of Consumable Associates and department processes through partnership with the Consumables Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.
What You'll Do
Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
Assists in providing direction and the coordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Consumables Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
Affirms the overall presentation of Consumable Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
Delegates, assists and follows up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
Supports with scheduling as needed.
Assigns Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.
Participates in the training and development of the Consumable Associates, and provides feedback as needed.
Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.
