About the role

The Campus Safety Officer 1 position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment on campus. This includes responding to emergencies, conducting patrols, and providing security services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage emergency situations
• Conduct regular patrols of campus grounds and buildings
• Provide security services to students, faculty, and staff
• Assist in investigations related to campus safety incidents
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least one year of experience in a law enforcement or security-related field
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• Physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR
