About the role
Campus Safety at the Prescott Campus is seeking a dedicated Campus Safety & Security Supervisor to oversee shift operations and ensure the safety of our campus community.
Responsibilities
- Manage direct reports
- Implement policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations
- Resolve security-related concerns
- Work outside of normal shifts as needed, including on call availability
Requirements
- High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and math
- 3-5 years of work related experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
Qualifications
- No felony convictions, must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- A valid Arizona Driver’s license, must meet the University’s standards for approved drivers
- Must pass annual department physical fitness assessment and firearms qualification standards
- Must have AZ DPS unarmed and armed guard cards
- Must complete dispatch functions training, IS – 300 Intermediate Incident Command Systems, HSEEP, VCATS, and CRASE Instructor training
- Excellent verbal communication abilities

Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $19 to $21, with a starting hourly pay expectation around $19. In addition, this position is eligible for an armed differential of $2.50 an hour and a shift differential of $0.96 an hour.
Schedule
This role requires flexibility to work outside of normal shifts as needed, including on call availability.
