About the role

Sworn officer, firearms qualified. Establishes and maintains a safe atmosphere for faculty, staff, students and visitors at an institution by providing police and security services.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate assistance
• Investigate incidents and gather evidence
• Interact with community members to maintain public safety
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful completion of a police academy program
• Background check and drug screening
