Campus Monitor
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Campus Monitor to help create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all students at Vanguard Classical School. Our rigorous Core Knowledge curriculum, classical teaching style, and commitment to high expectations prepare students to think critically, act responsibly, and grow into tomorrow's leaders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students in hallways, common areas, playgrounds, and during arrival/dismissal.
- Ensure student safety by enforcing school rules and procedures.
- Promote positive social interactions and help resolve minor conflicts.
- Report incidents, injuries, or behavioral concerns to school leadership.
- Absorb and observe visitors, ensuring doors are secure.
- Support transitions between classes, recess, lunch, and dismissal.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Ability to enforce school rules and maintain a safe environment.
- Positive attitude and ability to interact with students and staff.
- Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Desire to contribute to a vibrant school community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with basic first aid and CPR is a plus.

- Basic computer skills for managing student records and reporting.
