Campus Director of Food & Beverage
About the role
The Food & Beverage Director leads the dynamic F&B programs at Hotel Citrine, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and AC Hotel Palo Alto. These hotels bring together modern sustainability and European-inspired design to redefine hospitality in Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all F&B outlets, banquet operations, and in-room dining at both properties
- Manage financial performance, forecasting, and budget adherence across departments
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team—recruiting top talent and creating future leaders
- Drive service excellence through hands-on leadership and daily pre-shift alignment
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Culinary teams to enhance programming and events
- Ensure all operations meet luxury service standards, health codes, and safety guidelines
- Champion guest satisfaction by creating seamless, engaging, and memorable dining experiences
- Be the face of our restaurants, building relationships with guests, vendors, and the community
Requirements
- A proven track record: 5+ years leading F&B operations in luxury hotel or fine dining environments
- Strong financial acumen, experience with POS systems, payroll, and inventory management
- Passion for service, food, beverage, and storytelling through hospitality
- An approachable, inspiring leadership style that cultivates team engagement and excellence
- Operational knowledge across multiple venues and event spaces
- Keen awareness of guest needs, timing, and sensory experiences
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in F&B management
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
