About the role
The Gorge Amphitheatre is seeking a Guest Service team member. The Guest Service member will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist our guests at the Camp Ticket Kiosk or Guest Services/Camp Box Office windows
- Sell tickets for each vehicle entering the campground
- Distribute "will call" to patrons on day of show
- Coverse promotional tickets (coupons, donation letters, etc.)
- Sell and/or distribute upgrades, if available
- Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date issued
- Guide guests to camping sections and provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
- Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules
- Direct guests to areas of interest including restrooms, concession stands and first aid/security
- Refuse admittance to undesirable persons or persons without tickets or passes
- Settle ticketing disputes or help solve other guest concerns
- Become knowledgeable of all camping levels and locations
- Reconcile cash drawers at end of shift with a supervisor
- Other tasks as assigned by the Campground Manager
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs

The Expected Compensation For This Position Is $17.13 USD - $20.00 USD Hourly
