Responsibilities

The Fan Ambassador is a front-line guest experience role responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and positive environment for all campground guests. This position focuses on guest engagement, wayfinding, and proactive support to enhance the overall campground experience.

  • Serve as a friendly and approachable point of contact for all campground guests
  • Greet guests upon arrival and throughout the campground with a positive attitude
  • Provide accurate information regarding campground rules, amenities, schedules, and event details
  • Assist with wayfinding and directing guests to campsites, facilities, and key locations
  • Proactively walk assigned areas to engage with guests and identify needs or concerns
  • Monitor campground areas for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with campground policies
  • De-escalate minor guest concerns and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary
  • Support campground operations as needed, including light cleaning, restocking, or assisting other teams
  • Encourage a respectful, inclusive, and fun environment for all guests

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-energy or stressful situations
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or events
  • Experience handling guest concerns or conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of the campground or event environment

Work Environment

Outdoor setting with high guest interaction. Fast-paced, high-energy environment during events. May include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk long distances across campground terrain
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions (heat, wind, dust, etc.)

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $17.13 - $20.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
