About the Role

Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprised of global market leaders: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. The Gorge Amphitheatre is seeking a Manager – Campground Security to oversee the overall management of the security department, ensuring guest, employee, artist, and venue safety while controlling costs and maintaining total guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the Campground Manager to ensure compliance with all security-related policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Monitor PSI lanes, protocols, and compliance.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security.
  • Move throughout the campground and all venue areas to visually monitor and take corrective action when needed.
  • Provide guidance, implement improvements, and make necessary adjustments to security operations.
  • Investigate and resolve security complaints.
  • Interact positively with guests to preserve order and protect property.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and discipline security staff for efficient department operation.
  • Participate in the venue’s sustainability program, including sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about conservation efforts.
  • Organize and conduct staff meetings, communicating pertinent information to the team.
  • Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
  • Regularly review and evaluate the department, recommending and implementing new operational policies and procedures as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar security management role.
  • Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and enforcement procedures in a business environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. or more, and occasional sitting.

Pay

Expected compensation for this position is $23.20 USD - $29.00 USD hourly, based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
