Hood Meadows is seeking an experienced and service-driven leader to serve as our Department of Public Safety (DPS) Manager, overseeing safety, security, and emergency preparedness operations across both Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur. This year-round leadership position plays a critical role in protecting our guests, employees, facilities, and mountain communities while helping create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our resorts. As DPS Manager, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for security operations, emergency response coordination, incident investigations, loss prevention, and public safety initiatives. Working closely with Ski Patrol, Human Resources, Mountain Operations, and executive leadership, you will develop training programs, implement safety measures, and coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies—including law enforcement, the U.S. Forest Service, and Search and Rescue teams—to support the unique demands of a dynamic mountain environment.
