What You'll Do
- Protect Our Guests & Resort
- Patrol the Resort to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
- Secure facilities, equipment, and Resort assets to prevent loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Maintain awareness of potential safety or security concerns through monitoring surveillance systems, access points, and guest areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, attractions, and equipment in accordance with Resort policies and procedures.
- Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns while enforcing Resort policies.
- Assist with monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life safety equipment.
- Dispatch and respond to radio calls throughout the Resort for security assistance and emergency situations.
- Investigate incidents, gather information, interview witnesses, document observations, and complete accurate incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies when needed.
- Remain calm, confident, and solution-focused while handling sensitive situations.
- Deliver World-Class Guest Service
- Be a friendly, approachable presence for guests and fellow Model Citizens.
- Answer guest questions, provide directions, and assist with a variety of guest needs throughout the day.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in every interaction.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid training.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year or more of security, law enforcement, military, emergency response, or related experience.
- Previous experience in a theme park, hospitality, entertainment, or guest-facing environment.
- A Florida Class D Security License (preferred but not required).
- Some college coursework is a plus.
