Calvary Early Learning Center Teachers, 2 & 3 Year Olds

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage 2- and 3-year-olds in daily learning and play.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom environment, common-use areas, and playgrounds.
• Encourage positive behavior with clear, consistent guidance.
• Follow all school and state health and safety regulations.
• Implement daily schedules and curriculum.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and school functions.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications & Expectations

• High school diploma, CDA, TCC, or degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Meet Georgia state background check requirements.
• Knowledge of young children’s social, emotional, and creative development.
• Strong communication skills with active listening and follow-through.
• Ability to remain calm, multitask, and manage stressful situations professionally.
• Receptive to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sit on the floor and engage with children.
• Change positions and move frequently throughout the day.
• Comply with Bright from the Start childcare and early education standards.
