St. Matthew's Episcopal Church Preschool in Spartanburg, SC is hiring an Early Childhood - Teacher 2's/3's classroom to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $16/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

Requirements

• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
• A strong understanding of child development, including the transitional mastering of skills of the toddler to the 3 year old.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Must have the ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of professional child care experience.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• ECD 101 plus college credits in ECE or related field.
