Calvary Early Learning Center Infant Teacher

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for infants, ensuring safety, comfort, and growth.
• Create/Maintain a warm, clean, and engaging classroom environment, common-use and playground area.
• Support infants’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Communicate positively with families and coworkers.
• Follow all school, state, and licensing health and safety regulations.
• Implement daily routines and age-appropriate curriculum activities.
• Attend meetings, training, and school functions.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Qualifications & Expectations

• High school diploma, CDA, TCC, or degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Meet Georgia state background check requirements.
• Infant teaching/care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infant development and early learning needs.
• Strong communication skills with active listening and follow-through.
• Ability to remain calm, multitask, and manage stressful situations professionally.
• Receptive to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Sit on the floor and actively engage with infants.
• Change positions and move frequently throughout the day.
• Comply with Bright from the Start childcare and early education standards.
