Call Center Specialist Weekends Part Time

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. is a provider of patient-focused, comprehensive mental health services. We offer mental health evaluations to children, adolescents, adults and older adults in crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all holidays. Our service model focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition of mental health patients. Based on the results of an assessment, we determine the most appropriate level of care and recommend treatment facilities. Our tele-psychiatric assessment and consultation services connect people with the care best equipped to address their mental health issues. Rapid response ensures patients reach the most appropriate level of care faster, expediting their journey to wellness.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones at Behavioral Health Connections and takes demographic information related to the person to be assessed.
• Coordinates and processes patient documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
• Ensures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma/GED (Associate Degree preferred).

Experience: 1-3 years of work-related experience preferred.

Preferred knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age-specific growth and development, and crisis and behavior management.
