Call Center Representative (2nd Shift)
About the role
We are seeking skilled Customer Service Representatives (Viewer Experience Advocates) to join a high-performing team supporting a major global streaming platform. In this role, you will handle viewer inquiries via phone and chat, providing exceptional customer support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure a seamless streaming experience. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills, previous customer service experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist viewers via phone and chat with:
- Account and billing questions
- Basic troubleshooting and streaming issues
- Content inquiries
- Navigate apps and websites
- Recommend appropriate streaming products during each interaction
- Navigate multiple systems and tools
- Document all viewer interactions accurately
- Maintain high productivity in a fast-paced environment (50–70 contacts per day)
- Adapt to changing priorities and product updates
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Preference for call center experience
- Must pass a Call Center Telephone Skills assessment
- Training Schedule (Onsite Only): Classroom Training: 2 weeks, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM CT Nesting/OJT: Approximately 12 to 15 weeks, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM CT
- Permanent shifts generally fall between 12pm–9pm
- Must work weekends and holidays due to the on-demand nature of streaming services
- Attendance is critical — no schedule changes or planned PTO during the contract period
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
