Call Center Benefits Service Representative

Description and Requirements

• Aid retirees with routine inquiries.
• Process retiree defined benefit transactions.
• Maintain accuracy of inquiries and transactions within service level agreement parameters.
• Document requests and inquiries in the internal case management system, including creating workflows for internal research requests.
• Learn technical rules for client benefit plans.
• Adhere to call center guidelines and protocols.
• Previous call center experience preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
• Detail-oriented and excellent time management skills are necessary.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and committed to professional development.
• Able to define problems and generate potential solutions.
