Call Center Benefits Service Representative
Description and Requirements
- Aid retirees with routine inquiries.
- Process retiree defined benefit transactions.
- Maintain accuracy of inquiries and transactions within service level agreement parameters.
- Document requests and inquiries in the internal case management system, including creating workflows for internal research requests.
- Learn technical rules for client benefit plans.
- Adhere to call center guidelines and protocols.
- Previous call center experience preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is required.
- Detail-oriented and excellent time management skills are necessary.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Resourceful, eager to learn new concepts, and committed to professional development.
- Able to define problems and generate potential solutions.
