California Licensed Litigation Attorney (Remote and Contract)

About the role

A law firm with offices throughout California is looking for a California licensed attorney with at least four years of experience litigating to assist with general litigation and commercial litigation matters on a completely remote basis. This firm is seeking both permanent hires and contract engagement attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Experience handling general case workup activities such as written discovery, motion work, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation in civil litigation matters is required.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of the California Licensed Litigation Attorney (100% Remote):

• 4+ years of legal experience in litigation
• Excellent communication skills
• Licensed and in good standing in California
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references

Pay & Benefits

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $175,000 to $205,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
