California Licensed Litigation Attorney — Remote

About the role
This position involves assisting with case workup for litigation matters, including pre-litigation strategy, motion practice, written discovery, legal research, drafting motions, depositions, and case assessment. The successful candidate will need sound judgment, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a remote work setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with case workup for litigation matters, including pre-litigation strategy, motion practice, written discovery, legal research, drafting motions, depositions, and case assessment.
- Manage deadlines and competing priorities in a remote environment.
- Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Exercise sound professional judgment and take ownership of assigned matters.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic legal team.
Requirements
- At least three years of commercial, employment, or general litigation experience.
- Active license to practice law in California and current good standing with the California State Bar.
- Demonstrated experience with litigation tasks such as pleadings, motions, written discovery, legal research, depositions, and case analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, highly organized, responsive, and capable of producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

- Annualized compensation ranging from $170,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
