About the role
Our client is an extremely high-regarded plaintiff-side employment litigation firm.
Responsibilities
- Representing clients in employment litigation matters
- Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and participating in arbitrations and trials
- Collaborating with team members to develop litigation strategies
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience
- Proficient in legal research, writing, and trial practice
- Experience in taking and defending depositions
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels
