California-Barred Defense Litigation Attorney (Remote, Flexible Hours)

Latitude is seeking California-barred and based lawyers with 4+ years of personal injury defense litigation experience for an engagement position with a boutique law firm. The role is fully remote.

About the role

The successful candidate should enjoy working as part of a dynamic team and have significant litigation experience handling written discovery, motion work, depositions, and court hearings.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
• Handle all aspects of discovery
• Efficiently and competently research legal issues
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing to colleagues and clients

Requirements

• 4+ years of litigation experience at a personal injury defense law firm
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references

Position Details

Type of Role: Engagement or Engagement to Permanent

Schedule: Part-Time, Full-Time, or flexible arrangements

Location: Remote (must reside in California)

Pay

The annualized pay for this position ranges from $135,000 to $175,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference.
