About the Role

You will be a Calibration Technician supporting our Lockheed Martin Greenville Site. Our team is responsible for performing calibration and adjustments on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as, but not limited to: oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters, power supplies, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, digital voltmeters, AC/DC Standards, power meters & sensors, digital multimeters, electrical test sets, physical/dimensional equipment, and hand tools.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Responsibilities

  • Use calibration procedures, manufacturers’ manuals and specifications, and data sheets to accomplish work.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of calibration lab safety.
  • Be a team player and quality-minded.
  • Periodically lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant calibration or metrology experience or successful completion of a basic DoD Calibration School.
  • Recent hands-on laboratory environment calibration experience within the last 5 years.
  • Experience with electrical theory, hydraulics/pneumatics, and torque.
  • Experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to work a 4x10B schedule (Tuesday–Friday).

Qualifications

  • Military PMEL/TMDE training.
  • 3+ years of experience calibrating/adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulations such as NIST, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9110, or ANSI Z540.1.
  • Experience with MS Word and Excel.
