Responsibilities
- Directs the cashiering and count room areas to safeguard company assets.
- Fosters teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.

- Recommends and implements changes to improve overall employee and guest satisfaction.
- Manages and directs the day-to-day operations of assigned departments.
- Counsels, guides, and instructs employees in proper performance of their duties.
- Plays a role in planning, developing, and implementing revised procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensures efficient utilization of labor based on business needs.
- Executes plans and strategies to achieve Total Service goals.
- Trains and complies with regulatory standards.
- Develops and integrates departmental training efforts.
- Manages projects as assigned, including strategic financial and company initiatives.
- Oversees and/or personally gathers information for establishing, updating and performing periodic reviews of casino check cashing accounts.
- Works closely with the Collections Department, Cashier Department and Regulatory Compliance Department.
- Collaborates with Casino Hosts, Diamond Services and Total Rewards personnel.
- Interviews, trains, selects, adjusts rates of pay and hours of work for employees.
- Applies organizational, managerial and communication skills to manage a large staff.
- Assesses employees' productivity and efficiency for promotion or change recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
- Previous Cage Management experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Finance and/or Administration preferred.
- Broad knowledge of casino, slot and table games, rules, regulations, procedures and administration.
- Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills.
- Proven supervisory skills, primarily in the management of a large staff.
- Ability to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Well-groomed appearance, independent work ability, physical stamina, and ability to handle various shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Ability to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Ability to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
