Summary Monitors sanitation and product standards and supervises staff members to provide cafeteria patrons with the best possible food service Essential Job Functions Monitors sanitation regulations and procedures in order to comply with university and government standardsOversees inventory, storageSupports the department by assisting on various operational tasksPrepares and monitors the departmental budgetSupervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and proceduresSupervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional developmentPerforms other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Experience working in hospitality, foodservice or other related experienceAbility to obtain and maintain food safety managers certification approved by conference for food protectionAbility to work days, evenings and weekends Please Note Qualified candidates must live or relocate to live within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
