Position Overview
Roles And Responsibilities
- Overseeing students from entry to departure from the lunchroom
- Aiding students with condiments, milk cartons, and napkins
- Maintaining an orderly lunchroom atmosphere by enforcing good table etiquette and respecting others
- Seating students and arranging tables
- Cleaning up the lunchroom after classes and at the end of each day
- Knowing emergency exit routes
- Performing related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of student behavior, family characteristics, and Loudoun County Public Schools policies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Physical Requirements
- Sitting and remaining stationary for long periods
- Lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Speaking clearly and loudly to convey instructions
- Using normal cognitive abilities to learn, recall, and apply practices and policies
