Position Overview
Roles And Responsibilities
- Overseeing students from entry to exit of the lunchroom
- Aiding students with condiments, milk cartons, and napkins
- Maintaining an orderly lunchroom atmosphere by enforcing good table etiquette and respecting others
- Seating students and arranging tables
- Cleaning up the lunchroom after classes and at the end of each day
- Knowing appropriate fire exits in case of emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of student behavior, family characteristics, and cultural aspects relevant to Loudoun County Public Schools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with children and maintain discipline
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Speaking to convey detailed instructions
- Normal cognitive abilities including learning, recalling, and applying practices and policies
