Division Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa Description The Cafeteria Cook supports daily hotel operations by preparing quality meals in a clean, efficient, and well-organized kitchen. Your consistency, teamwork, and commitment to food safety help create a reliable and positive dining experience for staff and guests. How You'll Shape The Experience Prepare and cook meals following recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines.Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, prep areas, and serving stations.Follow all food safety, storage, and labeling requirements.Assist with inventory, restocking, and communicating supply needs.Set up and break down stations for each meal period.Support special dietary needs or requests as directed.Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel teams to ensure smooth operations.Other duties as assigned. KEY STRENGTHS FOR SUCCESS Strong cooking and food-prep skills.Organized, efficient, and able to multitask.Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.Maintains high sanitation and safety standards. Professional Experience Prior kitchen or culinary experience preferred.Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and equipment. ACADEMIC BACKGROUND High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Food Handler or ServSafe certification is a plus.
