The Cook is responsible and successful in completing assigned kitchen responsibilities related to food preparation. The Cook will prepare meals, load food carts, and ensure the kitchen and equipment is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner. No Experience Required!
Available hours
- Mid Day Shift - 8:00 am - 4:30pm (M-F with a rotating weekend)
- Dinner Shift - 10:00am - 6:30pm (M-F with a rotating weekend)

Responsibilities
- Have a part in preparing and providing all meals for our clients and staff
- Review and accurately follow meal count information to ensure client safety
- Assist in maintaining the kitchen and equipment in a clean and sanitary manner
- Take pride and ownership in Damar's facilities and assigned work areas, to better our clients' wellbeing
Requirements
- Prior work in a high volume kitchen preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar's insurance carrier
- Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Favorably meet and maintain Damar's background screening
