Overview

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a part-time Supervisor in its Cafe. This role involves assisting the management team, training and overseeing team members, and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team and assist in café and store operations.
• Coach and model exceptional customer service.
• Train and oversee café team members.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Operate equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
