Cafe Sous Chef
What You Will Be Doing
- Supervise kitchen staff and daily operations.
- Prepare breakfast and lunch items while ensuring consistency and quality.
- Train and mentor cooks and prep staff to maintain standards.
- Aid with menu planning, daily specials, and seasonal items.
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and storage of food items.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are maintained in the kitchen.
- Support hotel-wide culinary initiatives as needed.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a café, casual dining, or hotel kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of breakfast and lunch service operations.
- Experience with menu planning, inventory, and cost control.
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range
$60,000 - $68,000 Annually Based on Experience
