About the role

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Café Server to join our dynamic team at the Hilton Milwaukee. As a part-time Café Server, it will be your responsibility to tailor the Café experience to each guest providing food and beverage services in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in a superior level of guest satisfaction.

The Hilton Milwaukee just completed a $40 million renovation. This extensive transformation elevated our guest rooms, event spaces, and grand lobby to reflect a new era of modern elegance. Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, The Hilton Milwaukee is not only the city's largest hotel but also a historic gem. Responsibilities

• Greet guests and explain specials & promotions
• Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system
• Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations
• Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return
• Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments
• Maintain self-banking procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager

Qualifications

• Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred
• Innate desire to serve and ability to maintain service and departmental standards
• Basic knowledge of food & beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
• Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items
• Proficient in English for menu comprehension, recording orders, and guest communication
• Recall and promote menu items
• Maintain professional demeanor and clean uniform

Pay & Schedule

• Job Type: Part Time, Hourly, Union
• Shifts Available: mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Pay Rate: $7.46/hour
