Cafe Janitorial - 1st Shift

About the role

As a Café Team Member you will support daily food‑service operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment. The role combines customer service, food handling, and housekeeping responsibilities to ensure the café remains safe and efficient throughout each shift.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to team members.
• Maintain café cleanliness throughout each shift, including floors, trash, service areas, counters, and shared spaces.
• Complete weekly and bi‑weekly deep‑cleaning responsibilities to ensure a consistently clean and organized environment.
• Monitor and help minimize waste through careful portioning and restocking practices.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding needs, concerns, or operational issues.
• Support a positive, team‑oriented atmosphere while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
