Part-time position at the highest quality nursing care residence, providing a warm and compassionate homelike environment in a new state-of-the-art community.
About the Role
The Café Attendant will ensure high-quality meals are professionally prepared, presented, and served with excellent customer service while honoring all preferences and choices.
Schedule
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 2 days per week, including every other Monday and Thursday and alternating weekends
Pay
Hourly rate: $19.25

Requirements
- High school graduate or G.E.D. required
- Food service experience required; cooking and culinary experience preferred
- Experience with long-term care and/or Dementia residents preferred
- ServeSafe Certified or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful, and confidential manner
- Flu vaccine required during flu season

Parker at Somerset is a 120-bed post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care residence located on 10 wooded acres in Somerset, New Jersey. As an Eden Alternative® registered home, we provide compassionate, high-quality long-term nursing care in a comfortable, home-like environment. We also offer comprehensive post-acute rehabilitation with 24/7 skilled and sub-acute nursing services. Parker at Somerset holds a Five-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and offers recreational activities and special programs, including a Personal Enrichment Program for elders with dementia, to promote socialization and quality of life.
