CAD Designer - Water Resources

Essential Functions

• Operates AutoCAD/ Civil 3D software with high level of proficiency.
• Demonstrates expertise in drafting and design principles for water resources projects.
• Prepare construction drawings under minimal supervision.
• Work on multiple projects and prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines, while working independently or as part of a team.
• Able to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Conforms with company QA/QC procedures during preparation of design documents.

Requirements

• Minimum Education and Experience: Associates degree from an accredited technical institute or university preferred with emphasis on Civil Engineering and/or excellent skills in AutoCAD/ Civil 3D.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at a civil engineering firm, A/E consulting firm is preferred.
• Experience working within the DOT design systems (preferred).
