CAD Designer

About the role
InProduction is seeking talented individuals to join our team and help create and design solutions for high-profile nationwide events. The ideal candidate will provide accurate drawings for our sales staff using our drawing library of parts. These drawings will be shared with customers, building officials, and field technicians. We prefer candidates who are eager to grow with our company as we expand within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to achieve functional design solutions against various constraints
- Participate in design reviews and work with site surveys
- Produce code-compliant drawings and specifications
- Maintain project schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Review and verify drawings in various design modeling software formats
- Create detailed drawings for manufacturing purposes
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience using AutoCAD
- Associate’s degree or AutoCAD certification preferred
- Preferred experience in the entertainment and events industry (Live Events, Sporting Events/Venues, Theater)
- Strong AutoCAD foundation and proficiency in creating detailed drawings
- Working knowledge of dynamic blocks and ability to create/expand upon existing library
- Working knowledge of 3D and programs such as 3DS Max preferred
- Proficiency in PC-based computing, Microsoft Office, and Windows OS
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
- Must report to the office
- Must pass a background check and drug screening

Pay
$22–26 per hour (based on experience)
