Responsibilities
- Employ Civil 3D, Deed Reader Pro, and other software to draw surveys, plats, topographic maps, and worksheets; create surfaces and points.
- Utilize GIS for property research.
- Research rights-of-way, easements, and deeds from the Register of Deeds and other sources.
- Draw As-builts and compare them to the plans.
- Determine buffers and setbacks.
- Create paperspace layouts as needed.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of Survey Drafting experience is required, or a combination of experience and education such as an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Understanding and application of CAD standards.
- Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with surveying terminology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work on a team.
