About the role

Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of industrial heat exchangers and heat transfer equipment headquartered in Northeastern Washington State. The company serves domestic and international markets including Industrial Refrigeration, Power Generation, and Petrochemical. This position is located in Colville, WA and supports operations for two manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Use SolidWorks to generate detailed models for submittal drawings, production build packages, and electrical drawings.
• Generate pre-purchased parts lists for the Purchasing Department.
• Resolve design problems and review/analyze specifications.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures; draft technical details.
• Work with application engineers to solve issues and improve designs.
• Consult technical handbooks and tables during the drafting phase.
• Provide design input on new and custom products.
• Create and store drawings electronically; prepare variations of design.
• Understand UL 508A standards.

Requirements

• Drafting degree preferred or equivalent experience with Colmac products/practices.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Pay

$22.00/hr – $31.63/hr, depending on experience.

Schedule

• Regular shifts: Monday – Friday.
• Overtime as needed.
• Day shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.
• Swing shift: 2:15 pm – 10:45 pm.
