About the Role

We are seeking a CAD Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Pressure Management Team. This role involves developing an automated tool for generating general agreement drawings and integrating them into our proprietary application. You will collaborate with Design Engineers and Product Managers to resolve queries regarding the automation of product drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the construction of each product and create the assembly workflow.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the products.
  • Automate product drawings with respect to the assembly workflow for the preparation of General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Write code for product drawing automation.
  • Test the product within our applications in cooperation with other team members.
  • Troubleshoot issues during deployment of each product drawing.
  • Contribute to the overall quality of the organization in the testing of all products.
  • Collaborate with other teams during deployment of product drawings to Production.
  • Develop documentation for assembly workflow.
  • Coordinate with team members and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Autodesk Products/NX CAD.
  • Experience with VB.Net, C, C++, or Python.
  • Knowledge of Inventor iLogic.
  • Experience with PLM Software, preferably Teamcenter.
  • Experience in ERP Software (SAP/Oracle preferred).

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Aeronautical/Production Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of Engineering Standards.
  • Experience with creating Models and assemblies.
  • Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, Power Platforms, and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
