Cable Technician II
About the role
Network equipment experience, fiber knowledge, fiber troubleshooting, layout and installation of wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles, and other devices. Build closets, mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware. Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required. Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels).
Responsibilities
- Work inside and outside buildings to set up data centers.
- Pull wire and oversee conduit installations and wire pulling.
- Operate tools/equipment, such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jackson, MS.
