Cable Technician II
Responsibilities
- Install and terminate CAT3 and CAT5 cabling, jacks, faceplates, and surface-mount boxes
- Build and organize telecom closets including racks, patch panels, fiber hardware, and grounding
- Perform cable testing and troubleshooting using toners, meters, and continuity tools
- Identify active voice and data circuits
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work on ladders, in ceilings, and in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to distinguish cable colors and read small print
- Reliable attendance and a professional attitude
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply and may vary depending on job classification and length of employment.
