Cable Repair Technician II

What You Will Do

• Perform moderately complex cable builds and repairs for ESP cable
• Perform High voltage testing of ESP cable
• Perform splicing to ESP cable
• Perform repairs to ESP cable
• Perform spooling of ESP cable
• Able to complete required testing documentation
• Work schedule is 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. on a rotating basis

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in ESP experience
• Basic troubleshooting skills for electrical equipment
• Basic computer skills with programs like Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to read and write English
• Accuracy and Attention to detail
• Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
• Ability to work under general supervision
• Effectively present information and respond to questions
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
• Action-oriented for delivering results
• Customer-first mindset

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up-to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up-to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

• Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm as in handling
• Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
• Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips
• Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
• Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
• Substantial movement (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers to use a computer
