Cable Technician
About the Role
The Cable Technician role focuses on installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing low-voltage systems, including Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, and Intercom systems. This position requires technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure systems are installed and functioning according to code. The technician will assist with installations, perform inspections, respond to emergency service calls, and maintain accurate documentation. Flexibility for varying shifts and on-call rotations is essential. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair low-voltage systems (Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, Nurse Call, Intercom).
- Assist with installations and perform inspections.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Intermediate-level experience.
- Physical abilities: lift 75+ lbs., climb ladders (8' or taller), and operate heavy equipment.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
