Description JOB SUMMARY We’re looking for a Cabinet Design Professional to come work with our design team. An ideal professional for this role has Nonn’s is currently seeking an experienced Cabinet Design Professional for our retail/builder single-family home division. A successful individual in this role achieves specified sales and margin goals while providing the highest level of customer service through ongoing product knowledge development and refinement of sales techniques. Based in our showroom, this full-time position reports directly to the Store Manager and is scheduled during showroom hours (typically 1-2 Saturdays per month and one evening per week). Great opportunity to further build and develop your interior design career! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Develop retail and builder customer relationships and assist customers in selection process.Develop and maintain sales materials and keep current on product knowledge and installation.Prepare project bids and ensure jobs meet margin goals.Manage projects from start to finish in collaboration with the support team.Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and builder meetings as required.Ensure the showroom and personal workspace are maintained in a neat, clean and orderly manner.Enter and process all paperwork; collaborate with internal team members to resolve questions or issues.Occasionally make job site visits.Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
