Cabinet Designer & Sales Associate

Heritage Kitchens is a small, family-owned custom cabinet company based in Kalona, Iowa. We exist to bless our customers by providing excellent service, a positive experience, and a quality finished product. Our growing customer base is a result of these values—and we’re now looking for another team member to help us continue that mission.

About the role

Full-time (4–5 days/week) or part-time cabinet designer and sales associate position in Kalona, Iowa. Compensation is based on experience and commitment. No formal education requirements, but strong software and design skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to discuss kitchen and cabinetry needs
• Create cabinet layouts and kitchen designs using software (Mozaik)
• Prepare professional, easy-to-understand design presentations
• Assist customers in making selections and finalizing projects
• Price and quote jobs accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with production and installation teams
• Maintain records and follow up with leads and clients

Requirements

• Highly experienced in kitchen and cabinet design, preferably with multiple years of experience in residential cabinetry and kitchen layouts
• Skilled in cabinet design software (experience with Mozaik is a plus)
• Friendly and confident with people
• Organized and efficient
• Focused on excellence and details
• Coachable and self-motivated
• Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
• Able to manage multiple projects and follow through
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients

Nice-to-have

• Experience in cabinet sales
• Knowledge of construction or cabinet production
