Cabana Club Pool Host

Responsibilities

• Ensure the pool deck is swept and watered down and that all furniture is in the correct place when setting up in the morning
• Greet all guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, and delivering consistent guest service, exceeding guest expectations, and providing all other supporting services
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas including; stocking of supplies, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool deck and facilities including straightening and stacking chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, collecting towels, and tidying up cabanas
• Obtain clean towels and transport to pool; fold and stack towels
• Ensure all pool deck furniture is straight and organized, including cabanas
• Check all lounges for need of repairs, mark them, and report them to Engineering

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment
• Prior pool or beach attendant experience preferred, but not required
• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
• High School diploma or equivalent required
