Cabana Host
Position Overview
The Cabana host plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, customer service, and maintaining a safe and organized pool environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell cabanas, daybeds & firepits
- Effectively and professionally build & maintain a clientele base
- Leverage your clientele base to drive business to the pool and property
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information about pool services, programs, and policies
- Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with seating cabanas and daybeds
- Respond to and resolve any guest complaints
- Assisting with cabana arrivals/departures and walk-ins and all other tasks associated with cabana check-ins and check-outs
- Ensure cabanas are set up prior to opening each day
- Ensure accurate and efficient registration of pool guests
- Be prepared to knowledgeably answer any questions your cabana guests may ask about offerings at the pool and inside the hotel
- Work closely with VIP, FDL, PDL Room, guest experience services and F&B team to ensure guests are receiving the highest level of service possible
- Provide information regarding pool schedules, events, and policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Enforce pool safety rules and regulations
- Monitor pool area for any unsafe conditions and report issues promptly
- Collaborate with lifeguards and management to address safety concerns
- Assist with scheduling of pool events, classes, and programs
- Assist with organizing pool equipment and maintaining a tidy workspace
Qualification Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill set, considering a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity and market data alignment.

$15.00 per hour
